To enquire about a service and repair
We are now accepting mowers for service and repair if needed. To contact us to inquire about service and repair of your mower please use CONTACT form. Please give your contact details, your name, your telephone number and email address together with your machine details with brief description of any problems so we can respond with an indication of the cost. Thankyou.
To arrange to visit
Customers are welcome to visit by appointment ONLY. The CONTACT form on the website can be used to arrange an appointment. We are open air and for your safety we will continue to wear masks and gloves. We would appreciate it if you would do the same. Collection and return are limited to elderly, disabled and those with no means of getting their mower to us, with the exception of bulky mowers. We will endeavour to collect by arrangement, as soon as possible though there may be some delay.
Who we are and what we do
Cutting Edge Mowers is a family business based in Nottingham. We provide repairs, servicing, restoration and expert advice for lawnmowers of any shape and size. We are also specialists in servicing and sharpening cylinder mowers. We also sharpen hand and powered garden tools including hedge trimmers, shears and secateurs etc.
As professional engineers and mower enthusiasts we treat each mower with special care and attention. Any work needed or requested is carried out with passion and diligence and we also enjoy imparting our expertise to our clients with the aim of helping them keep their own lawns and lawnmowers in excellent condition. Our workshop is located between Nottingham City and the M1. This ideal location means we can arrange collection and return to areas around Nottingham and Derby and further away by special arrangement.
Timescale for servicing and repair
The time the work may take varies, with our target for servicing and sharpeming being 2 weeks. However the pandemic has caused severe disrubtion in the availability of spare parts. We will attempt to keep you informed about your mower as the work progresses when we become aware of delays arising.
